PACE-LOGIA

Cluster of Products
by Dr. Jinsok Park (Th.D)

PACE looks simple. However, It isn’t. Early PACE came to us through Dr. Melvin. Dr. Melvin also had in mind that the PACE he developed was highly expandable and could be used in various areas. Over time, PACE has been further expanded and developed through the ideas and research of various people. Now, PACE has extended outputs in many ways. I also want to provide expanded results in various areas as PACE-LOGIA and Productive Output through research last many years.

PACE-LOGIA
The word ‘PACE’ can also mean ‘step or footsteps’ in English. ‘LOGIA’ in Greek means practical ‘study’. Therefore, ‘PACE-LOGIA’ means “theology of practical life” in which we live each step of life as a practical life of faith. Because it is a life that integrates and utilizes P-A-C-E in all important areas of life. There are many important ‘PACE-Results’ (results as fruits), as shown in the grape picture diagram.

TANK of PACE Execution Theology
PACE is not simply only a academic that deals with theory. PACE is to execute the actual part. In addition, we are researching so that we can implement practical aspects. As a result, it helps to put it into practice in practical fields both inside and outside the church. That’s why it’s called ‘Execution Theology’. As such a pragmatic theology, PACE is called ‘TANK of PACE’ because of its abundance of resources, as if a large water tank is filled with water and the water is drawn where it is needed. PACE can provide resources that can be effectively used in various fields beyond simply pastoral care.

PACE Application Inventory
The P in PACE doesn’t just ended with Prayer. Its expandability can be further expanded in relation to the Prayer. For example, “Prayer makes prepare.” Also, “Prayer gives God’s power.” And “Prayer shows path.” Like “prayer – prepare – power – path ~~”, it is expanded. It’s not just P, but “~A-C-E” as well. These lists are created as ‘sub-titles’ under each indicator. That’s why it’s called an extended PACE list.

PACE Homiletic
Homiletic is the study of preaching, an important task that every pastor must undertake. PACE is also very useful when it comes to homiletic and preaching practice. It makes the focus and direction of the sermon clear and helps the audience to hear clearly the Word of God as the preacher is speaking.

PACE Preaching Practice
If homiletic is to discuss the academic overall, this chapter’s PACE Preaching Practice is a practical field that leads to preaching according to P-A-C-E. Therefore, you can practice specific sermons according to P-A-C-E.

PACE and Church Growth
PACE also provides an important and very meaningful focus on church growth. Church growth is not simply an increase in the number of members. PACE provides a clear direction for church growth. At the same time, evangelical methods and alternatives can be found in PACE for the church to grow.

PACE and Self Development
PACE is a great tool for personal development. At the same time, it can provide a clear solution to support the growth and development of not only individuals, but also multiple communities, such as businesses.

PACE and Pastoral CARE
Basically, PACE is designed for ‘pastoral care’. However, Pastoral CARE covered in this paper deals with additional initials. It is C-A-R-E. At the same time, such pastoral care fundamentally requires “pastoral counseling”, and this chapter deals with PACE as a part of pastoral counseling at the same time. So, in a way, it should be called counseling.

PACE Counseling TOOL
PACE is a technically good counseling tool. However, many people do not take advantage of PACE as a technical tool. Counselors must have specialized tools for counseling. And counselors need to train themselves. That way, you can help your clients more effectively. This chapter provides effective counseling tools according to the initials of P-A-C-E. And that’s the very technical part of counseling.

PACE Pastoral Theology
Basically, PACE is pastoral. It is an important focus and direction of PACE. Therefore, PACE is oriented toward the church. At the same time, the church has a pastor. As the focus of these ministries, PACE is “The Ministry.” However, this chapter does not deal with pastoral ministry in general, but with the initials added with PACE. It is C-H-U-R-C-H (church), P-A-S-T-O-R-S (pastor).

PACE 4 TYPE Indicator
People has different personality types. We also discover that there are important types of each in executing PACE. It wasn’t a balanced PACE, it showed a bias in one direction or several. The PACE Indicator shows that type. So It help you adjust what needs to be improved. So, PACE 4 TYPE Indicator is similar to “Psychological Personality Type Analysis Paper”. So, it is PACE-Subscale of another aspect that can help you understand the area of PACE and analyze it more effectively to help it grow in another aspect.

Double Effect On PACE
It is true that PACE is primarily designed for pastoral care. But it doesn’t have just that one effect. At the same time, it has a more extended part. So, while executing PACE, you can expect other additional effects at the same time. For this ‘simultaneous effect’, “road map” and “mind map” that can effectively execute PACE are treated as “clustering”. This clustering effectively implements PACE and at the same time clearly shows where our PACE ministry is at. PACE on its own can do great things. However, if we want to implement a more effective and advanced PACE, we need to be a little more planning. This chapter deals with how to plan such a planning part.

PACE and Lay People
Lastly, Lay people should live a life filled with God’s grace. Lay people should also experience God’s grace through the words of the gospel and prayer. At the same time, you must experience God’s care through PACE ministry. In that aspect, PACE basically begins as a lay ministry for the lay people. There is God’s deep will for the lay people in this PACE ministry. So, PACE ministry should be done by lay people. Such PACE ministry should be done as a lifestyle inside and outside the church. That Life Style should be a culture of life in the lay person’s life. PACE should be shared with lay people who have done PACE ministry as well as those who do not PACE-ing for now, so that it must take root deeply as a culture in their lives. Lay people who do PACE ministry should apply PACE to themselves (Self-PACE). At the same time, it should be shared with other lay people as a life style through PACE ministers (Life Style of Lay people). ■
